Gone fishing...

Diary July 9. 2006

Se todays photos (no photos today)

Finally came the day for the big fishingtrip. The alarmclock wokw me up at 05.30 am. and at 06.00 am. we were on the ocean. Stuart knows the area relly well of we ailed about 15 km. out on the ocean. From the beach everything lokked calm and quiet, but we got wiser fast. When we arrived at the fishing site the waves were pretty tall and the boat semmed very small..

But there were lots of fish. The bait hardly reached the buttom before there were catch. Unfortunately a big amount of the fish couldn´t be eaten, but the colors were fantastic. I think it´s a good idea to have a local person with you. Otherwise I think I would have brought all the fish home with me!

After a couple of hours we sailed back home, mostly because the seasicknes hit me for real. I am sorry I don´t have any photos og the fish, but it was simply impossible to hang on to the camera and throw up at the same time...

We did bring 3 good fish home, at we look forward to grilling them tonight.

The girls spent the day at the beach. They are getting a really nice tan now.

Tomorrow the plan is to continue our trip north, but we hope to see a little of the football finals first. Sunday evening is monday morning at 5 o'clock dawn here, so it's gonna be another day with the alarmclock set!!

By the way, the fish was breaded like our plaice and the taste was almost the same, just with a little more meat on.
