The title might sound weird, but it is really true !
We start by getting the autocamper in Sidney, which takes a very long time. Apparently all cars have to be delievered by the boss, who is an insane woman...According to her, all other employees are "crazy" (from where, do I recognize that...). The auto camper, by the way, is covered in dirt !
Anyway... we are on the road, throug Sidney with the sweat of fear running down the drivers face. Left driving does take some getting used to. The same does Sidney, espicially when driving i required. We were pleased with our GPS, otherwise we would still be there !
After driving approximately 1 hour, we are out of Sidney heading for Newcastle, which should be the large winedistrict of Australia. It is located about 160 km. from Sidney. On the way we come across a sign, leading to the Australien Reptile Park.. off the highway, following the signs and soon we are at the park. Now we are going to see crocodiles.
The first thing we learn, arriving to the park, is first aid for use with snake and spider bites,.. very comforting in case we should meet any of these animals. The funniest experience in the Park, I think, was the cangaroos and the koalabears. The Cangaroos were fed by hand, but you can see that on the pictures.
On the road again, heading for Newcastle and the wine district and a good dinner. The only one who liked the food in the park was Nicolaj, strangely. We find the Campingsite in the book, plot in the adress and off we go.
Well arrived at the site, the autocamper is parked, unfortunately the toilet doesn´t work,... well we are going to fix that later. Off to the restaurant, where it becomes clear, that the restaurant doesn´t have a license to serve alkohol,... why the h... would you have a restaurant in the middle of a winedistrict without clearence to serve wine ? ...
So after plenty af cokes, we are now in the autocamper with our beers and wine brought from Sidney. It has been superweather today, but in the evening it gets really cold. Then it´s a good thing, to be able to turn on the heat.
